It’s efficient and it’s fun, and with an innovative dual fuel-injector design, it’s got more than its fair share of get up and go. Microfinished to reduce friction and provide a quicker response, Versa Sedan's engine has variable valve timing that continuously adjusts engine output to deliver no-nonsense acceleration with fuel-sipping efficiency.
Choose the 4-speed automatic transmission for the daily commute or the long road trip. For a sportier driving experience or simply to take control in passing and climbing, choose the 5-speed manual transmission.
Versa has an independent strut suspension with stabilizer bar and torsion beam suspension with a rear integrated stabilizer bar that keeps you comfortable and isolated from bumps, road noise and vibrations, for the ultimate in driving pleasure.
The Versa’s power steering system adjusts sensitivity according to the speed you are traveling. It becomes more nimble at low speeds, making parking and reversing easier. At high speeds the system becomes more rigid, increasing feel and response.
Built to provide a combination of excellent strength and maximum traction, Versa’s 15” steel wheels are fitted with all-season tires for a smooth ride all year-round.
Versa’s unique halogen headlamps utilize a multi-reflector system that provides long, wide light distribution and helps to increase visibility.
Stay cool in your Nissan - air conditioning is standard in the Versa Sedan.
Settle in, turn up the volume and enjoy the ride. The standard AM/FM/CD audio system pumps through two speakers and features an auxiliary input to hook up your MP3 player.
The standard Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System has voice-recognition which allows you to make and receive calls through the stereo speaker system with just the touch of a button on the steering wheel. No headset needed and you can even pre-program your favorite numbers or speak the digits for a no-fumble phone call.
The Versa Sedan’s gauges help you keep tabs on the vitals—like speed and RPM—while the trip computer provides average and current miles per gallon, as well as the current distance to empty. Since Versa gets up to 36 MPG, it’s great fun to watch those big numbers rack up.
Storage space is conveniently placed throughout the Versa. A large glove compartment for must-haves is within reach and cup holders are located in the front and back. Both door panels have huge pockets with room enough for maps, water bottles and more.
With a huge 14.9 cubic feet of room, Versa Sedan’s trunk lets you bring along everything you need, and keep it safe from prying eyes. The huge pass-through means tall and wide items are always welcome along for the ride.
Nissan Advanced Air Bag System (AABS) includes dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt sensors and an occupant-classification sensor. The inflation rate of these dual-stage air bags adjusts depending on crash severity and seat belt usage. In addition, two supplemental air bags are built into the front seats to offer side impact protection and move with you as you adjust your seating position. Also, roof-mounted curtain side impact supplemental air bags help provide head protection for both rows of outboard occupants.
LATCH is another way we’re working to keep children safe. The Versa LATCH system lets you secure LATCH-compatible child restraints in the second row without having to use seat belts or a locking chip.
This standard feature—sometimes called stability control—continuously monitors your steering and braking actions, senses any oversteer or understeer, and helps compensates by reducing engine speed and/or applying brake pressure to specific wheels. In addition, Traction Control System can sense front wheel slip or spin and responds by instantly helping reduce throttle which helps you both regain grip and maintain your steered path.
Versa Sedan’s standard advanced ABS system gives confident, secure braking when you need it most. Electronic Brake force Distribution adjusts brake proportioning to compensate for added weight from passengers or cargo. Brake Assist “reads” how quickly the brakes are engaged and immediately applies maximum available power boost for braking.
TPMS monitors tires for low inflation pressure, which can shorten tire life and reduce the load-carrying capabilities of the vehicle.
